Renee Carey
Dr Renee Carey is a Senior Lecturer in the Curtin School of Population Health and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia in Perth, Western Australia. Her research focuses on exposure to occupational carcinogens, the future burden of disease resulting from these exposures, and the effect of interventions to reduce exposure on future disease. This work has made substantial contributions to occupational health knowledge and policy. Renee’s work has been cited as supporting evidence in key strategy and policy documents both in Australia and internationally, including the recent world-first legislation banning the use of engineered stone in Australia.
